Anthony Jeselnik is an American stand-up comedian, writer and actor born in 1978 in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania. He is known for a deliberately dark, deadpan style built on ironic misdirection, taboo subjects and an arrogantly amoral stage persona. After writing for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, he sharpened his reputation with brutal turns on Comedy Central's roasts before hosting his own series, The Jeselnik Offensive. His stand-up specials include Thoughts and Prayers (2015), Fire in the Maternity Ward (2019) and Bones and All (2024), and he co-hosts the podcast The Jeselnik & Rosenthal Vanity Project. Coolly precise and unafraid to bait an audience, Jeselnik has become one of comedy's most distinctive live headliners, prized for meticulously constructed jokes delivered with icy calm.
