About
Against the Current are an American rock band from Poughkeepsie, New York, formed in 2011 around vocalist Chrissy Costanza, guitarist Dan Gow and drummer Will Ferri. Beginning as a YouTube-bred act, they moved from pop-punk toward a polished pop-rock and synth-pop sound across albums including In Our Bones (2016) and Past Lives (2018). The trio reached a global audience with "Legends Never Die," written for the 2017 League of Legends World Championship, which they performed at the tournament's ceremonies and which earned Gold certification in the United States. They played Warped Tour in 2016 and have toured internationally, including their Nightmares & Daydreams world tour. Led by Costanza's commanding vocals, Against the Current have built a reputation as an energetic, fan-connected live band.
